Elmo volunteers and donates at the Kentucky Blood Center

Eric volunteers at the blood center every Tuesday and delivers blood products to area hospitals in Lexington! So Elmo went along with Eric for the ride and got to meet all these really nice people and Elmo even did something really brave.. but you will you will have to read more to find out what!

Elmo preps to donate blood. We wondered at first what Elmo's blood type was, but no doubt it's O+ because everyone 'universally' loves Elmo!

Elmo's tourniquet is ready, don't worry Elmo it doesn't hurt for long!

Yay Elmo! Elmo did a great job! He even enjoyed some Little Debbie (www.littledebbie.com) snack cakes afterwards provided in the donor lounge!

Whew! Elmo has been a busy tourist in Lexington! He deserves a much needed rest for a while!

WOW isnt Elmo brave!! After giving blood Elmo needs to rest for a bit to make sure Elmo doesn't faint!.  Thank you Eric for a wonderful day and to all the volunteers at the Kentucky Blood Centre!

Love Elmo
