More Pictures from Winnipeg

We took another trip to the Forks one evening to see the skating rinks at night with the beautiful lights. This shot is taken in the glass tower six stories up which overlooks the entire area. There are many rinks at the Forks which connect to each other and lead out to a skating path along the Red River.

Of course we had to show Elmo what downtown Winnipeg looked like, and also took this photo from the tower at the Forks.

This is another set of skating rinks just off to the right from the round rink.

Cara and Elmo stop for a pose while we strolled through Johnston Terminal...another attraction at the Forks which has many unique shops.

On another trip to see a couple of sights, we took Elmo to see a new bridge that was built and finished in December 2003 - The Esplanade Riel which is located in the French quarter of our city. It is a pedestrian bridge which also has a restaurant (the round structure below the cables). It is separate from the bridge that carries traffic across the river just a few feet beside it.

This is our Legislative building which looks best when lit up at night. Although difficult to make out in this photo (we had to take it from a distance to get the entire building in it) at the very top is the "Golden Boy". Elmo sure is having  a great time with Shannon and Cara but boy is it cold. Elmo didn't know white fluffy stuff was so wet and cold!

Elmo in Winnipeg!

Elmo has been visiting with Shannon and her daugher Cara in cold cold Winnipeg. Here are some pics of Elmo on Christmas day and having some fun with Cara.

Cara and Elmo waiting impatiently to open Christmas gifts in front of the tree. Notice there are no photos of the actual opening of gifts.... that would be because Cara decided to wake at the crack of dawn and open ALL the gifts under the tree (lucky they were all hers anyway!)

Elmo's Travel Plans for 2010

So I know Elmo is missing in action. I am sure I know where he is, and that he is ok.. (well I hope he is!).


His travels plans for 2010 are so far looking like going down to Kentucky to Eric. I'm sure that Eric has lots of partying wonderful adventures planned for Elmo and that he will have an amazing time there with Eric and his friends. Elmo has heard that Eric likes cars and Elmo is excited to learn lots about cars from Eric.


After Eric there is a free slot! If anyone is interested in hosting Elmo for a few weeks, leave me a comment and we can organise a visit.


As most of you know I am off to Canada this year, so I'm planning on having Elmo back here to me prior to my holiday so I can take him to Hawaii and then cowboy hunting, I mean grand adventure to Calgary and the Stampede. Of course that will mean a visit back to Chaundelle!.




If anyone would like to host Elmo for a visit please contact me and we can arrange it all. Remember that this was all about sending him around the world and at the end donating him to charity to raise money for childhood cancer research.

Well.... sorry for the delay in updates.. its just well that Elmo hasn't send me any to post!

Im hoping that it won't be long and Elmo will be back up to his usual fun and travels. If anyone happens to see Elmo can you tell him that his faithful readers are missing him lots.

Elmo gets some pampering treatment!

Hi ya Folks!

Wow has Elmo had a very relaxing day. Today Fingerpuppet took Elmo to the salon for a hair cut (Elmo is not sure if Elmo has hair!)..

Jeff at Salon Eskada really gave Elmo the royal treatment, Elmo is feeling so relaxing and Elmo thinks that Elmo is looking rather handsome!















Now that Elmo looks so handsome, he thinks he might get Aunt Rosy back to take him out on the town!

Elmo is in Niagara

Hi Everyone!

It's Elmo!. It was time for Elmo to leave Chaundelle and Cole and go to Diana's house in Niagara. Boy is Elmo glad to be out of that box again! Elmo thinks being out of the box and doing things is so much better!.

Well Elmo has exciting pictures to share.. do you want to see them? Lean closer and tell Elmo again... was that a yes, that Elmo heard?? Ok then Elmo thinks you want to see them so here they are!

Ok so Elmo got to go to Niagara Falls with Diana and her sister Rosey. She said Elmo can call her Aunt Rosey (Aunt Rosey is fun)

Wow Elmo has had a huge day. Elmo has been to see the falls, been over to America and got new clothes! Elmo loves his new friends.. Elmo is tired now and needs to go have a rest, but I hear that we are going to the salon for some pampering.. Elmo is not sure what that will be like but Elmo is sure it will be fun!

Elmo has left Calgary!

Well it is time for Elmo to say good bye to Chaundell and Cole and the wonderful place called Calgary and Elmo is heading to see a lady who Lauren calls Fingerpuppet!. Diana lives in Niagara and is going to take Elmo to all sorts of wonderful places.

Elmo wants to say a big big thank you to Chaundelle and Cole for having Elmo stay and for doing all the fun things they did. Elmo went to Elmo Falls, the Calgary Stampede, Cole's birthday party and lots of other exciting things whilst Elmo was there. Elmo can't wait to come back to see Chaundelle and Cole again. Elmo will miss you both so so much.

Elmo will post again when he gets to Fingerpuppets and can tell you all about the fun things Elmo is doing with her family.

But before Elmo goes. Elmo wants to share his last lot of pics with you all.



The other weekend, Chaundelle and Cole took Elmo to the chuckwagon races in Bashaw and wow did Elmo have so much fun!.


Elmo got to get his picture taken with a man named Rick he was the nicest man, Elmo liked him so much Elmo climbed up into lap and told him all about his adventures so far, then we posed for pictures

Elmo got distracted by the mini chucks so climbed back down and became a photographer yep Elmo did, see Elmo eye view HEHEHE Elmo likes being a photographer in the picture not easy to do.











Then Elmo remembered that Lauren likes Cowboys and Elmo took a picture of behind. Lol

The Chuckwagon Races started and Elmo took so many pictures that Elmo cant remember them all!, but the ones Elmo loved best are of Elmo is a small chuckwagon.

Now Elmo sees the difference, the wagon boxes are way bigger, and the horses way bigger poor Elmo he didn't like going into the big wagon with all that horse power but, Elmo did it anyway, hes getting brave.

This is Elmo with Shane Carters. He let Elmo sit on his wagons and then Elmo got to tell him all about the horses and what Elmo has been doing.


Last Elmo got to say good bye to some of Chaundelle's and Coles friends. This is Cole's uncle Reo

SO Elmo has loved being with Chaundelle and Cole and Elmo will miss them so so much. Elmo will be back for Christmas though. Thank you Chaundelle and Cole for making Elmo's time in Calgary so amazing. We love you so much!.
