Goodbye My Elmo, Goodbye My Friend

Hi All
It is with sad news that I say, Good Bye to you all.
Elmo, for what ever reason was just a failed social experiment.
As you know the first Elmo never even made it out of Australia. He was posted, no update was ever received and well.. that was the end of Elmo #1.

Me being me, bought another one to start the journey all over again. BUT well for what ever reason, Elmo even though he made it to his destination, hasn't had an update and no news can be raised from the person he was sent to.

After spending a lot of money on buying the Elmo's, then the postage, setting up his travel journal all twice, I am not going to be doing it again. It is sad that in the spirit of what this was about, to 1) connect people from all around the world with a bit of fun, and 2) to bring smiles to a little boy who has cancer, that we can not achieve this now.

If Elmo happens to magically turn up at the next place, and a update is forthcoming, then I will reopen his blog and the journey can start again!!

Thank you to everyone who wanted to participate and was so excited to make it happen. Maybe i will start something new another time.
